From The Road: Part I

I'm going to begin posting some images to this blog from a road trip I took back in 2012. The trip really solidified some of the values I began to cultivate while studying at Stout. In total it was about 3 and a half weeks and 10,000 miles of road crossing the western United States. Since then I have been aching to go west again and in less than a month I will finally be on the open road again.

A Fresh Look at Our National Parks [Outside Magazine]

Teddy Roosevelt established Crater Lake in Oregon as the first national park in 1902. Since then we have established over 300 national parks in the United States of America. Teddy's legacy of conservation is one we should appreciate and honor. Check out Outside Magazine's fresh look at our nation parks system.
